15W supplies target industrial apps

MicroPower Direct's HF15W-SPL family of 15W ac-dc power supplies for compact and low-cost applications are suited to industrial/process control equipment, data acquisition equipment, test and measurement instrumentation and telecommunications systems.

These universal-input, single-output supplies, in four models, provide 5-, 12-, 24- and 48V. Standard features include a line/load regulation of less than ±0.5 percent, 20ms hold-up time, efficiency of 68 to 77 percent (depending on model), and input-to-output isolation of 3kVac. Each unit is protected against output overload and over-voltage conditions. MTBF is greater than 100k hours, as measured per MIL HDBK 217F.

The HF15W-SPL family is fabricated on a compact, 3.9-by-1.81-by-0.86 inch PCB. All models are specified for operation over -10°C to 50°C C with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.

The HF15W is priced at $13.50 each in 100 quantities. Delivery is stock to six weeks.
