Nu Horizons inks global partnership deal with IBM

Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. has signed a global distribution agreement with IBM. The agreement is effective immediately, partnering IBM and Nu Horizons in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Under the terms of this agreement, Nu Horizons will distribute IBM's PowerPC microprocessor family, digital video and static random access memory (SRAM) products.

Craig Luhrmann, director of worldwide distribution channel sales for IBM, stated, "We look forward to building on the engineering, technical sales and marketing resources Nu Horizons offers to promote our product lines globally."

Dave Bowers, president of Nu Horizons' Distribution division. "This partnership agreement fills a much needed void for advanced microprocessor products and solutions within Nu Horizons' offering and provides our customers with an elevated level of technologically advanced products and system solutions synergistic to our other suppliers."
