0203 size chip resistor

State of the Art (SOTA) Inc. has introduced a new 0203 size chip resistor on alumina that offers double the voltage rating, from 15V to 30V, as compared with the existing 0302 chip resistor. The power handling capability is comparable to the 0302 resistor at 40mW.

The 0203 chip resistors are MIL-PRF-38534 compliant and are offered with gold, topside terminations for wire bonding. They are said to provide excellent high frequency performance. A variety of high-reliability screening options, including burn-in, are available. The company will also meet customer specific testing specifications.

Pricing for the new 0203 series resistors starts at less than $1 each in production quantities. Delivery is from stock to eight weeks.
