Delivering high precision (2.5C) and low current consumption (4.5?A, when no load), the new linear output temperature sensor IC from Mitsumi Electric Co. Ltd is designed for use in mobile devices such as cellular phones, PDAs and digital cameras.

The MM3154 sensor IC features a wide range of operational power pressure (2.4V to 6.5V); 2.5C (max) accuracy; 4.5?A (typ) consumption current; -8.20mV/C (typ) temperature sensitivity; 0.5 percent (typ) linearity; 0.03%/V (max) input stability; and 1mV (max) load stability.

The IC is available in SC-82 and SSON-4 packages.
