Sullin Electronics' expanded edgecard line

Sullins Electronics has expanded its high-temperature, high-density edgecard connector series to include staggered dip solder, card extender, surface-mount parts as well as a right-angle bend termination option.

The RoHS-compliant series, featuring 1mm contact centers, is designed for board-to-board interconnections of .062-inch 008-inch daughtercards. The double-row connectors provide 50 signals (contacts) per linear inch, and are rated to withstand 150C continual heat.

Offering an extended temperature range of -65C to 150C, these connectors are recognized under the Component Program of UL and C-UL. They provide a single contact rating of 1A, and a nominal force of 1.5N (150g) per contact. They feature high cycle hairpin bellow contacts in configurations ranging from 2/4 (positions/contacts) to 50/100 and selective gold plating.

Connectors may be ordered with PPS or PA9T insulators. A variety of mounting styles, molded-in keying options, and customization is available. They may be specified for burn-in testing, security systems, computer peripherals, and general industrial, commercial and consumer applications.

Average pricing for the high-temperature, high-density edgecard series ranges from $1 to $2.22 per contact pair in production quantities. Samples are available now. Delivery for production quantities is two to three weeks.
