Mimix Broadband's CMM1118

Mimix Broadband Inc. introduced a gallium arsenide (GaAs) three stage driver amplifier with a self-biased, single supply design. Using 0.25?m optical etch-stop pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (phemt) device model technology, this driver amplifier, identified as CMM1118, covers the 11GHz to 20GHz frequency bands. The CMM1118 provides 20dB gain and delivers 14dBm output power at 1dB compression.

With on-chip ESD protection, the CMM1118 is assembled in a low cost, surface mount 3-by-3mm QFN package. The 16 terminal plastic package is also Pb-free. The device is well suited for wireless communications applications such as millimeter-wave point-to-point radio, local multipoint distribution services (LMDS) and SATCOM.
