Nordic Semiconductor and Nu Horizons announce Pan-Asian agreement

Nordic Semiconductor ASA and Nu Horizons Asia Pte Ltd announced the signing of a Pan-Asian partnership agreement that involves the distribution for all of Nordic's products throughout the territories China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia and New Zealand.

Nordic Semiconductor ASA designs and manufactures leading single chip radio ICs for short-range wireless communication in ISM bands worldwide. All of Nordic's RF components are ready made for high volume products focusing on low costs and designed to comply with local telecommunication regulations worldwide.

"Nu Horizons has established itself as leading component and system solutions distributor with robust demand creation capabilities, technological expertise and a strong global distribution network," said Svenn-Tore Larsen, CEO of Nordic Semiconductor ASA. In addition, he said that they are pleased to add Nu Horizons their regional distribution network in Asia as their standard components are very synergistic with their line card offering.

Likewise, Dave Bowers, president of Nu Horizons Distribution Division said, "Nordic Semiconductor is a world leader in short-range radio communications for consumer, industrial and peripheral applications. We are delighted to add their leading products to our APAC solutions portfolio." He added that Nu Horizons remains committed to distributing technologically advanced products and that Nordic's reputation for quality and performance enhances their value offering to regional customers.
