CIT Relay & Switch's 100 series

CIT Relay & Switch has launched a new series of RoHS-compliant subminiature slide switches. The new 1000 Series is available in both single pole/double throw (SPDT) and double pole/double throw (DPDT) versions.

The 1000 series offers switch functions of On-None-On, On-None-(On), and On-Off-On. The switches are rated for 5A at 120Vac, 28Vdc, and 2A at 250Vac. All 1000 series devices are offered in silver-plated, gold-plated and gold-over-silver plated contacts.

Designed with an electrical life of 100,000 cycles using gold-plated contacts, the 1000 series has an operating temperature ranging from -40C to 80C. The overall switch dimensions for the SPDT version are 17.53(L)-by-6.10(W)-by-6.35(H)mm and the DPDT dimensions are 17.53)L)-by-11.43(W)-by-6.35(H)mm.

Available with a variety of actuators and terminals, actuator length options range from 3.60mm to 5.08mm. Terminal options include solder lug, PC pin, quick connect, horizontal mount right-angle PC pin, vertical mount right-angle PC pin, panel mount, and PC pin with support brackets. Typical applications include test and measurement equipment, telecommunication, and computer and peripherals. Mounting ears and epoxy sealing are also available.

Pricing starts at 79 cents in quantities of 5,000, depending on contact arrangement. Delivery is five to six weeks.
