CMOS LDO regulator ICs deliver high-accuracy output voltage

Toko Inc. announced that they have begun shipping samples and mass-produced products of its TK631xxB/H/S-G and TK637xxB/H/S-G positive voltage CMOS LDO regulator ICs.

The TK631xxB/H/S-G offer low dropout voltage (TK631xxB-G: 80mV) and high-accuracy output voltage (11 percent). The output voltage is internally fixed and adjustable between 1.5V and 4.2V in 0.1V intervals.

Meanwhile, the TK637xxB/H/S-G are positive CMOS LDO regulator ICs that offer stable operation without input/output capacitors, low power supply voltage (IQ = 105A), and excellent transient response characteristics. Additional features of the new regulator ICs are thermal and overcurrent protection, high maximum load current, and ON/OFF control. In addition, no external noise bypass capacitor is required.

The ICs are available in the following formats: a compact 4-terminal flip chip (FC-4); a compact and low-profile 6-terminal type (SON2017-6); and a general-purpose compact 5-terminal type (SOT23-5). These products are targeted at mobile equipment, battery-operated products, and general electronic devices requiring space-saving, high-density packages.
