System General, a provider of device programmers, recently announced its device support for Altera Corp.'s Stratix II EP2S15, EP2S30 and EP2S60 FPGAs in FBGA484 packages.

The device support is available on the manual T9600 Universal Programmer and on all System General automated programmers.

With advanced hardware architecture, the T9600 Universal Programmer provides customers the fastest programming speed with affordable cost of ownership, said System General. In addition, the company incorporates T9600 with handlers to automate programming operations.

"We are proud to be chosen by Altera to provide the sole socket programming support for the unique design security feature available on the new Altera's Stratix II FPGAs," said Don Yang, VP of System General. "Our support for Stratix II allows us to complete our support for Altera devices, which aligns with our company policy to always do our best to provide total programming solutions for our customers."

System General will continue its support for other Stratix II FPGAs in different packages.
