Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. has introduced a 128Mb, DDR DRAM for the networking, consumer and automotive sectors.

The IS43R32400A is a 128Mb DDR DRAM that is organized as 4-Meg x 32, has an 8K refresh, and runs up to 200MHz. The 2.5V device provides a data transfer rate of up to 1.6GBps.

"DDR DRAMs are now part of the low to medium density DRAM space," said Sanjiv Asthana, vice president of sales and marketing at ISSI. "Expanding our DDR DRAM product offering is part of ISSI's long-term commitment to support a complete range of low-to-medium DRAMs using leading-edge technology."

The IS43R32400A is suitable for networking and telecommunications equipment, HDTV, LCD TV, set-top boxes, hard disk drives automotive and other consumer applications.

Housed in a 144-pin FBGA package and operating between the 0 to 70C temperature range, the IS43R32400A is priced at $4.50 in 10,000-unit quantities. Samples are already available with volume shipments scheduled for the beginning of Q2 2006.
