TTL PCI digital I/O board is RoHS-compliant
Keywords:Sealevel Systems? PCI bus digital I/O adapter?
Sealevel Systems Inc. claims that its new board is the industry's first RoHS-compliant low-profile PCI bus digital I/O adapter. The board meets the RoHS 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC directives adopted by the European Union.
Dubbed the PIO-24.LPCI, the board comes on the heels of Sealevel's ULTRA 530.LPCI multi-interface PCI serial I/O card, which is also RoHS-compliant.
For its part, the PIO-24.LPCI is intended for connection to industry-standard solid-state relay racks for monitoring and control of AC and DC signals. The PIO-24.LPCI ships with a 40-inch ribbon cable that terminates to a 50-pin IDC (insulation displacement connector) that's compatible with most solid-state relay racks.
TTL I/O
Designed for compatibility with both legacy and new systems, the board is 3.3V and 5V compatible. The PIO-24.LPCI provides 24 channels of TTL-compatible I/O that's selectable as inputs or outputs in 8-bit groups. Each of the groups can also be configured to generate an interrupt for status monitoring applications.
Sealevel said its RoHS-compliant PIO-24.LPCI, designated with a product number of 8018-RoHS, is available immediately from stock. The board is priced at about $220 in low-volume quantities. A non-RoHS version is also available.
