Lead-acid batteries serve 4V to 24V apps

GC Electronics' GC family of valve-regulated, lead-acid batteries comprises more than 75 models, rated at 1.2A/h to 230A/h at 4-, 6-, 12- and 24V for meeting a wide range of applications. These include UPS systems, fire and burglar alarms, power supplies, programmable logic controllers, emergency lighting and communications equipment.

The family is available in six terminal types, and are also offered with flame-retardant cases as well as high-power options on select models that provide 15 percent more capacity than their standard counterparts, according to the company. These sealed (non-spill) batteries provide maintenance-free operation and deep discharge recovery.

The batteries are priced from $2.99 to $300.
