The TK60011CS8G0L and the TK60015CS8G0L magnetic sensing switch ICs from Toko Inc. promise to deliver excellent reliability under repeated operations and severe use conditions. Thanks to a CMOS manufacturing process, said the company, these new ICs consume very little power making them ideal for use in clamshell type cellphones and magnetic flux detection applications.

Rated for operation between the -40C to 85C temperature range, the TK60011CS8G0L and the TK60015CS8G0L chips feature an operating voltage range of 2.4V to 5.5V, power dissipation of 400mW, operating frequency range of 5Hz, and typical supply current of 2.5?A.

The two magnetic sensing switch ICs are housed in a TSOT23-3 package that measures 2.9-by-2.8-by-1mm.
