Patch panels transfer data at 10Gbps

Systimax Solutions recently released its 1100GS5 Cat 6a patch panels and m2000 universal modular panels designed for use in telecommunication closets and equipment rooms.

The GigaSPEED X10D 1100GS5 panels feature the same form and function as the previous version of the 1100 panel, but can support data transfer rates up to 10Gbps when installed as part of the company's GigaSPEED X10D Solution. Systimax added that the 1100GS5 panels have a new termination manager and rear housing for easier and more reliable terminations. The products meet or exceed the performance and transmission standards required for mission critical applications, added the company.

The M2000 panels are designed to accept Systimax's M-series outlets and can be configured for copper, fiber or both copper and fiber connections. These panels are compatible with any of the company's end-to-end channel solutions and have a height of 44.1mm (24-port model) or 88.9mm (48-port version).
