Hittite Microwave Corp., a supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication and military markets, has introduced a new GaAs pHEMT MMIC low noise amplifier (LNA) designed for microwave radio, military and industrial sensor applications.

According to the company, the new HMC341LC3B amplifier delivers 13dB of gain and 2.5dB noise figure; operates from 21GHz to 29GHz, and requires no external matching components. Additionally, the LNA consumes 35mA from a single 3V supply, while the RF I/Os are DC blocked for ease of integration.

The HMC341LC3B is housed in a RoHS-compliant 3-by-3mm Pb-free SMT package, and is available in a bare die form factor as the HMC341. Samples and evaluation PC boards for all SMT packaged products are available from stock.
