Anadigics Inc., a supplier of wireless and broadband solutions, introduced the AWT6235 linear power amplifier (PA) for wireless broadband (WiBro) applications. WiBro is a 4G wireless technology related to the WiMAX IEEE 802.16e standard.

The AWT6235 operates in the 2,300MHz to 2,390MHz frequency band, and meets the OFDM linearity requirements of the WiBro high-speed data system. This new PA offers an ACLR of -40dBc and output power of 25.5dBm.

The AWT6235 is offered in a 4-by-4-by-1mm surface mount package, and is manufactured using a materials set that is consistent with RoHS. This device is priced at $5.50 in quantities of 1,000 units. Samples are currently available.
