DCS4020 bipolar chopper drive

Haydon's DCS4020 bipolar chopper drive is designed for easy set-up and use. Connect a single power supply, motor and the DCS4020 drive and it's ready to run for development projects.

The DCS4020 bipolar chopper drive uses an on-board potentiometer to set motor current, and no external current setting resistors are required, said the company. The drive provides all basic motor controls, including full or half stepping of bipolar steppers, directional control and output enable control.

An oscillator circuit is standard on the drive with an on-board speed control potentiometer. External input/output signals allow complete remote control of all drive functions. All electrical connectors have removable plugs with screw-type terminals.

The DCS4020 bipolar chopper drive is priced at $40 to $120.
