Kemet Corp. announced the launch of a new 4 milliohm conductive polymer capacitor, which is said to set an industry benchmark for low ESR. The 680F, 4V component is available in a standard EIA X case size (7343-43).

According to the company, the component is designed for applications that require better capacitance retention at high operating frequencies such as high-end servers and high-speed motherboards.

The new polymer capacitor is available in an environmentally friendly, RoHS-compliant version and is capable of meeting the requirements for Pb-free processing.
