The CMMR1U series of ultra-fast rectifiers from Central Semiconductor Corp. requires 49 percent less board space in a flat lead, surface-mount SOD-123F package.

The 1A ultra-fast rectifiers offer peak repetitive reverse voltages of 200V (CMMR1U-02), 400V (CMMR1U-04), and 600V (CMMR1U-06). The maximum reverse recovery time is 35ns for the CMMR1U-02, 50ns for the CMMR1U-04, and 75ns for the CMMR1U-06. These devices may be used in a variety of commercial, industrial, entertainment, computer and automotive applications requiring a very fast reverse recovery time.

Typically, these rectifiers are packaged in much larger SMA packages. Compared with these larger packages, the SOD-123F devices use 49 percent less board space and tout a 57 percent lower profile.

The CMMR1U series is available in bulk packaging or on 7-inch tape-and-reel packaging (3,000 units). Prices start at 10 cents each for 3,000 pieces on a 7-inch reel. Sample devices are available on request.
