ON Semiconductor announced that several of its clock management products (MC100LVEP111, NBC12429A, NBC12430A and NBC12439A) are available in a new lead-free, 32-pin QFN package. With a footprint measuring only 5-by-5mm, the newly-packaged devices use only 31 percent of the board space consumed by earlier packages.

The MC100LVEP111 is a 1:10 differential clock driver with 200fs typical jitter and 20ps typical skew. The device accepts two differential or single-ended clock sources into an input multiplexer, and operates from a VCC of 2.5V or 3.3V. The MC100LVEP111MNRG is priced at $6 per unit in 1,000-unit quantities.

The NBC12429A (25MHz-400MHz), NBC12430A (50MHz-800MHz), and NBC12439A (50MHz-800MHz) are programmable PLL synthesized clock generators that deliver 20ps typical jitter and operate over a temperature range of -40C to 85C. These devices are also offered in the 32-pin QFN, the smallest available package. The NBC12429AMNR4G, NBC12430AMNR4G and NBC12439AMNR4G are priced at $6.84 per unit in 1,000-unit quantities. All the new devices are in production.
