DEK opens regional parts center in Shenzhen

DEK, a supplier of process and equipment for high accuracy mass imaging of electronics materials, has established a new regional parts center in Shenzhen, China. According to the press release, the new hub will offer DEK customers in the southern China region a more "local" and therefore significantly improved parts delivery time with 24 x 7 capability.

DEK customers using eEnquiry will have visibility of parts inventory in Shenzhen. eEnquiry is an online system providing DEK customers with instant access to product information, an online quotation and stock visibility. The Shenzhen parts center is managed by TNT, one of the world's leading global express, logistics and mail company.

"Already the new hub has processed an impressive volume of orders, reinforcing the success of our stock profiling model," said DEK Distribution Manager Martin Luff. "DEK's further investment in reducing response time capability and increasing parts inventory in China is further confirmation of the importance of this region for our customers' businesses and needs."

"Successful implementation of this new hub is an example of DEK listening to our customers and working with logistics partners to provide effective solutions. The end result is a quicker and stronger distribution network for our customers in China," Luff added.
