Adlink Technology Inc., an industrial automation solution provider, unveiled new advanced motion control and embedded computing platform products at the Board Computer trade show in Japan, which will run until tomorrow.

With live demonstration of its GEME-3000 (General Embedded Machine Engine) and HSL-4XMO (High Speed Link) series, Adlink unveiled its PC-based embedded platform designed for factory automation and machine automation system integrators, value-added resellers, and users that require a reliable system to run their industrial-specific solutions in hazardous production lines.

HSL is a distributed I/O technology designed for automation applications that is based on RS-422 with transformer isolation, which is suitable for full or half-duplex, multi-drop serial transmission. HSL is a real-time system and is said to be the best choice for optimal high-speed and easy-wiring distributed I/O solutions.

The company also showcased its GEME-5000 with the Intel Pentium M processor, with up to 1.4GHz. For the board level products, the company presented various form factors, including PICMG 1.3/1.2/1.0 single board computers, Micro ATX industrial motherboard, 6U/3U CompactPCI SBC, and Computer-on-Module (COM) products of ETX-IM333 and ETXexpress-IA533.
