Enclosure houses switches, controls and alarm systems

Bud Industries Inc. has expanded the Utilibox Style A product line with the addition of a 6.10-by-4.60-by-1.37-inch high plastic enclosure. The internal dimensions measure 5.84-by-4.34-by-1.17-inches. This enclosure may be used to house switches, controls and alarm systems.

All Utilibox Style A enclosures have internal PC-board mounting bosses, and are available with or without molded-in wall mounting brackets. The product line comes in flanged and unflanged styles, weighing 178.6g and 167.26g, respectively. The enclosures feature textured surfaces for high mar resistance, and bodies and covers are constructed of UL94-5VA rated ABS material in black. The enclosure comes with black cover mounting screws. Other colors are available on request and boxes are easily modified to meet specific application requirements.

Other Utilibox Style product lines are available with either a flush textured cover or with a smooth recessed area suitable for labels or keypads. Recessed covers are made from UL94V-0 rated ABS. Some models also come with clear covers made from UL94V-2 rated ABS.
