CS1121 tactile switch

CIT Relay & Switch introduced the CS1211 series of surface-mount, low-profile tactile switches for a variety of applications that require a space-saving package.

The right-angle, momentary CS1211 switches measure 4.5-by-3.7mm with a 1.8mm height. These devices offer an electrical life of 100,000 cycles using silver-plated, stainless steel contacts and silver-plated brass terminals. Electrical ratings are 50mA at 48Vdc. The actuation force is 180gF.

The actuator and housing is constructed of 4/6 Nylon with a grounded stainless steel cover for EMC protection. The operating temperature range is -40C to 85C. Applications include test and measurement equipment, telecommunications equipment, computer and peripherals, consumer products, handheld devices, automotive diagnostic equipment, diagnostic monitors, PDAs, and industrial products.

Volume pricing for the CS1211 switches starts at 15 cents. The devices are housed in tape-and-reel packaging with 3,000 pieces per reel. Delivery is four to six weeks.
