Rugged switches target control panels

The RoHS-compliant Series 14 switches from EAO target control panel applications with simple installation, long life and lower maintenance costs.

Visual aesthetics are a key feature of the Series 14 devices that include raised and flush-mount pushbutton switches, indicators, selector switches and key switches. Illuminated versions are also available with T5.5 lamps or high-intensity single-chip LEDs. This series also offers a variety of choices for lenses, protective front rings and bezels, in aluminum, stainless steel and plastic.

The Series 14 features self-cleaning, snap-action or low level switching elements with gold-plated silver contacts. These devices are connected by plug-in or solder terminals. For PCB-mounting, an adapter is available.

Rated at IP67, the Series 14 devices offer protection against vandalism, harsh environments and cleaning, and can operate in wet or dusty conditions. These devices are available in 22.5mm and 30.5mm mounting sizes and feature a low back panel depth for easier integration into an end application, particularly where space is restricted. Applications include machinery, medical instruments and payment terminals.

Pricing for complete units starts at roughly $8.50 per unit in small quantities.
