75W DIN rail supplies tout lowest cost

Touting the lowest-cost 75W DIN rail power supplies, MicroPower Direct's DR-75 are the first available of the company's DIN-rail product lines that will extend to 240W.

The company's DR-75 comprises three single-output models, designed for use with standard TS35 DIN rails that provide 12, 24 and 48Vdc from a universal AC input. Standard features include a typical line regulation of 0.5 percent, load regulation of 1 percent, and ripple and hold of 100, 150 and 240mVp-p maximum at 12, 24, and 48Vdc, respectively. Input/output isolation is 3kVac, hold-up time is 60mS, and operating efficiency is up to 81 percent. MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) is greater than 123 khours.

Operational features include protection circuitry for over-voltage/temperature and overload conditions, and adjustable outputs. All models are approved to UL 508, UL 60950, and EN60950 and comply with EN55011, EN55022 B, and EN6100 specifications.

The DR-75 family is priced at $51.10 each in quantities of 100. It is housed in a 2.18-by-4.93-by-3.94-inch aluminum case and specified over -10C to 60C with no derating or heat sinking. Delivery is stock to six weeks.
