ON Semi expands clock management portfolio
Keywords:ON Semi? NB6L11S? NB6N14S? ECLinPS MAX?
ON Semiconductor has introduced two fully differential interface ICsthe NB6L11S and NB6N14Sin addition to its ECLinPS MAX family of clock and data management solutions.
According to ON Semi, the devices are designed for precise clock management of telecommunications, networking, high-end computing, and automated test equipment applications.
Both devices combine the company's bipolar capability with an LVDS-compatible output structure, enabling them to interface directly with LVDS devices without sacrificing performance. In addition, both devices use ON Semi's AnyLevel input structure, which provides seamless interfacing with LVPECL, CML, LVCMOS, LVTTL or LVDS signals and offers true design flexibility, said the press release.
The NB6L11S is a differential 1:2 clock or data translator and distribution device, with a maximum input clock frequency of greater than 2GHz and jitter of 500fs typical. The device operates at Vcc of 2.5V and is packaged in a Pb-free QFN-16. The NB6L11SMNR2G is priced at $3.50 per unit in 3,000-piece quantities.
The NB6N14S is a differential 1:4 clock or data translator and distribution device with a maximum input clock frequency of greater than 2GHz and jitter of 500fs typical. The device operates at Vcc of 3.3V and is packaged in a Pb-free QFN-16. NB6L14SMNR2G is priced at $4 per unit in 3,000-piece quantities.
