Electroswitch's new detent-action rotary switches

Electroswitch offers industrial designers a series of rugged detent-action rotary switches that boast continuous ratings from 5A to 30A at 600V. They offer a wide selection of options for features such as waterproof mounts, gear-driven operation, push-to-turn handles, and key operation.

The detent-action rotary switches are available in five basic models spanning four continuous amperage ratings: Series 28 (5A at 600V), Series 25 (10A at 600V) Series 21 (15A at 600V), Series 31 (15A at 600V) and Series 24 (30A at 600V). Series 21, 25 and 28 models have four-hole mounts, while Series 24 switches offer a three-hole mount. Series 31 is available with either a single-hole or a four-hole mount. All models have terminal screws.

Providing up to 16 positions and up to 75 poles, these rotary switches feature fully enclosed decks and positive detent-action. They come with silver-plated, blade-type, double-sided, double-wiping contacts for low-resistance, shock-proof contacting. They are UL recognized and CSA certified.

In addition, all control switches in the detent-action product line offer spring return to normal (vertical) position as a standard feature. Instrument switches provide "make-before-break" (shorting) contacts and a common input tap switch arrangement that allows for sequential connection to several lines using the same switching deck.

Prices start at $30. Delivery is one to six weeks.
