Adlink's new DAQ cards

Adlink Technology Inc. has announced the release of high-sampling and multi-function DAQ-2016 and PXI-2016 cards that promise a maximum rate of 800KSps per channel and designed for large-scale data collection and industrial automation.

According to the company, the 4-channel cards offer 16-bit resolution and a variety of analog and digital trigger sources and modes for multi-channel simultaneous sampling efficiency. With better sampling rate and high-resolution, the new devices are suitable for a range of applications including industrial and laboratory automation, ultrasonic, acoustic and bio-medical research.

To support channel count expansion using an external clock, Adlink said the new products are capable of synchronizing multiple external devices through the SSI or PXI trigger bus.

Multi-function in performance, Adlink said the cards deliver two 12bit, 1MSps analog output, 24-channel programmable DIO, and two 16bit timer/counters that provide flexibility under multitasking environments. The DAQ-2016/PXI-2016 cards also feature an on-board precision reference for auto-calibration, which increases measurement accuracy, the company said.

The DAQ-2016 and PXI-2016 cards come with a powerful WDM driver for C/C++, VB, Delphi, C++ Builder, and .NET programming languages and full device drivers for MATLAB and LabVIEW.
