Power resistors target pulse load apps

Ohmite Mfg Co. has introduced its TGH series of non-inductive thick-film power resistors. These resistors are suitable for high-frequency and pulse load applications.

Available in 120W or 200W ratings, the TGH series resistors can be directly mounted onto a heat sink for significant cost advantages, according to the company. They are offered in two-, three- or four-terminal versions. Custom designs are available. The resistors are RoHS compliant.

Applications include variable speed drives, power supplies, control devices, telecommunications, robotics, motor controls and other switching designs.

Available in SOT227 packages, the TGH resistors are priced from $27.03 to $38.29 each in quantities of 20.
