EMI filters

Lambda has developed two series of easy-to-use industrial EMI filters. The MA and MX series filters provide two levels of electrical noise attenuation in the same-size package along with time-saving connection methods.

The EMI filters are available in five current ratings of 6-, 10-, 16-, 20- or 30A. They are rated for 250Vac or 250Vdc input with a maximum earth leakage current of 1mA (250Vac, 60Hz). The single-stage MA series filters attenuate frequencies in the lower 150-500kHz band, while the two-stage MX filters offer noise attenuation over a wider 150kHz to 30MHz band.

All MA and MX filters come in an identical compact package (2-by-3.6-by-1.6inches), which allows the devices to be easily interchanged without the need for mechanical or wiring modifications. The company said installation costs are reduced thanks to a unique hinged cover and barrier strip design that combines the convenience of captive screws with the safety of ring tag terminals.

Available now, the MA and MX series EMI filters are priced from $23.25 each in single-unit quantities.
