1GByte DDR2 SDRAM targets high-speed, -density apps

White Electronic Designs Corp.'s 1GByte DDR2 SDRAM Registered SO-DIMM with PLL claims improved performance in high-speed, high-density applications such as servers and workstations.

The 2x64Mx72 double data rate II (DDR2) SDRAM high-density module consists of eighteen 64M x 8bit DDR2 Synchronous DRAMs in FBGA packages, mounted on a 200-pin DIMM FR4 substrate (JEDEC Standard).

Defined as part number WV3HG264M72EER-PD4, the 1GByte DDR2 SDRAM is priced at $152 each in volumes of 1,000 pieces with a lead-time of 6-8 weeks. All DDR2 modules available are RoHS-compliant.
