PCIe x1 DAQ cards from Adlink

The two new PCIe x1 data acquisition (DAQ) cards from Adlink Technology Inc. feature 4-channel, simultaneous-sampling capability and multi-functionality required for large-scale and high-speed data collection. PCIe delivers a point-to-point, serial I/O bus with each slot having a dedicated and scalable bandwidth that surpasses the limited throughput of the PCI bus.

The DAQe-2010 and DAQe-2016 cards deliver all the advantages of the PCIe bus while featuring a maximum 2MSps (2010) and 800KSps (2016) sampling rate per channel across the x1 lane, respectively. The cards also support multiple card synchronization through the system synchronization interface bus to support high-channel count DAQ applications. Promising higher sampling rate and resolution, the new DAQ cards are designed for industrial and laboratory automation, ultrasonic, acoustic, and bio-medical research applications.

In addition to the flexible analog and digital trigger modes, the DAQe-2010 and DAQe-2016 provide multi-functionality, including a 2-CH, 12bit, 1MSps analog output; 2-CH, 16-bit, timer/counters; and 24-CH TTL DIO. These devices also come with software auto-calibration to maintain accuracy for long-range measurements. Additional features include a WDM driver for C/C++, VB, Delphi, C++ Builder, and .NET programming languages and comprehensive device drivers for MATLAB and LabVIEW compatibility.
