Satellite time-sync receiver maker Symmetricom Inc. now offers an HTML webpage interface for its existing XLi/XLi SAASM GPS-synchronized time and frequency receivers.

According to the company, the HTML user interface is not only a significant usability upgrade, but also makes the XLi SASSM the first instrument of its kind to include a webpage interface. This enhances the XLi's plug-and-play cards and built-in recognition software that permits modules to be swapped out without modifying the OS.

The XLi/XLi SAASM Time and Frequency System now also includes a so-called Have Quick Output module. It provides a Have Quick output signal that's compatible with ICD-GPS-060 Revision A, which synchronizes military radios deployed on Navy ships and submarines.

Symmetricom says its XLi/XLi SAASM Time and Frequency System is now shipping with the HTML user interface.
