DRAM enjoying healthy price trend, says DRAMeXchange

Demand for DRAM stayed solid in the week Aug. 7-15 which saw DDR prices staying flat and DDR2 enjoying slight sequential gain, according to recent report released by DRAMeXchange.
The clearing house also observed that bullish trend of SDRAM amid the upcoming seasonality demand swell from consumer electronics.
eTT (uTT) prices remain nearer to branded chips' level. Price gain of the higher-density DDR 512Mbyte 32Mbyte x 8 came relatively strong with a sequential gain of 2 percent to $5.51 along with the stable transaction volume.
Meanwhile, demand for DDR2 keeps warming up and has boosted the price of DDR2 512Mbyte 64Mbyte x 8 667MHz by 1.3 percent to $4.74. Meanwhile, eTT (uTT) cooled down slightly and constrained the upward momentum within 1 percent range.
