Rohm Electronics' two new thickfilm thermal printheads use a special heat element glaze structure for increased energy resistance and integrated high-density driver ICs to achieve high-speed 250 mm/s printing.

Designed for POS, ATM, kiosk, ticket, label and terminal printers, the KD2003-DG10A and KD2003-DF10A units feature a voltage range of 3.3V to 5.25V, which make them resistant to voltage fluctuations. These thermal printheads are also available in one resistance value of 650 ohms 3 percent to simplify circuit design. They are compatible with both thermal and thermal transfer printing. Both products are lead free and RoHS compliant.

Product samples are available. Pricing for the series is $70 each NCNR (at a minimum 100-piece quantity). Delivery is eight to ten weeks ARO.
