Fujitsu's T0212AZ0836 transmitter for CDMA cellphones

Fujitsu Media Devices has announced the development of the T0212AZ0836, a small and high-performance transmitter module for CDMA mobile phones.

As RF componentspower amplifiers, SAW filters, SAW duplexers, among others are integrated into one device, the transmitter's size is reduced to 8-by-5mm (1.4mm max height). The SAW filters and duplexers are Fujitsu's own products, making the device more reliable, the company said. This resin mold type device also promises high power efficiency and high isolation.

With its level of integration, the device reduces the circuit size to about 30 percent, the company said, compared to using discrete components. The module also eases the components mounting and management processes.

The T0212AZ0836 will be available for sampling in October with sample prices starting at $10.
