Electronics and components fair to feature 2,300 booths

The China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components, scheduled to run from October 11-14, is expected to break grounds with a bigger and better showcase of product suppliers at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong.

With over 2,300 booths, this trade show will feature two new demo areas—the GPS Pavilion and Healthcare Demo Zone, where buyers can see live demonstrations of the latest breakthroughs and innovations in the field.

The event will also have expanded pavilions for consumer electronics, security and safety products, telecom products and accessories as well as in-car electronic products. Other key segments to be featured are AV home theater products, computer and networking products, electronic components, opto-electronics, and power supplies. Also to be on display are miniature electronic products, slim GSM cellphones with multimedia functions, VoIP products, handheld two-way radios, Bluetooth headsets, portable media players, and GPS solution.

Top industry executives will also conduct free seminars on topics such as the IPR landscape in China, the EuP directive and its challenge on the electronics industry, and RFID's future prospects.
