CIT Relay & Switch introduces the compact and lightweight J105 series relay for a variety of applications including computer/computer peripherals, telecommunications, security, test equipment, instrumentation, RV, medical equipment, air conditioners, automotive, heating and ventilation, home appliance, motor control and other industrial applications.

The J105 series measures 18.5-by-10.2-by-15.8mm and weighs 9.5g and features low coil power consumption, high contact load, and comes in contact arrangements of SPST N.O. and SPDT. Contact ratings are 4.2A at 277Vac, 5A at 250Vac, 10A at 125Vac resistive, one-fourth hp, 120/250/277Vac as well as TV-5, 120Vac and pilot duty, C150.

Other specifications include a contact resistance of 50m initially, and insulation resistance of 100M at 500Vdc. The maximum switching power is at 150W, 1250VA with a maximum switching voltage of 277Vac, 30Vdc. Dielectric strength, coil to contact is 1000VRMS minimum at sea level and contact to contact is 4000VRMS.

In addition, the relays' operating temperature range is at 40C to 85C, with electrical life typically rated at 100,000 cycles with a mechanical life of 10 million cycles. The J105 series is immersion cleanable with the cover and the line complies with RoHS and is Pb-free.

Volume pricing starts at 35 cents, depending on coil, contact configuration and volume. Delivery is from stock to 10 weeks.
