DRAMeXchange found evident rebound for DDR2 eTT (UTT) by 6.9 percent from Nov. 3, stabilizing the price for the contract market. The price boosted to $5.43 after speculated supply suspension of the spot market this week.

The fluctuation of the DDR2 eTT resulted in a slight sequential gain for DDR2 512Mbit, 667MHz chips, according to DRAMeXchange.

The pre-stock demand for December is regarded as a key DRAM spot price trend indication for the coming weeks. However, a price upturn for DDR2 eTT would remain doubtful, if there is no critical catalyst, said DRAMeXchange.

For the first half of November, prices for the DRAM contract market were generally flat. For DDR2 512Mbyte DIMMs, most quotes remained flat at $47-$48 with a five percent price difference to DDR2 512Mbyte 667MHz at $49-$50 quotes. DRAMeXchange added that the price up for DDR2 remains doubtful for the second half of this month.
