New Japan Radio Co. Ltd has announced the NJM2727, a high-speed, high-voltage-resistant wideband op amp engineered for RF signal processing and high-speed pulse detection in IC testers, industrial equipment and measurement hardware such as ultrasonic non-destructive testing equipment and fluid/gas flow sensors.

The industrial equipment IC market is experiencing a growing demand for high-voltage-resistant operation, especially high-speed operation, as well as improved SNR. To meet these demands, the NJM2727 has been designed as a single-circuit, high-voltage-resistant, high-speed, wideband op amp IC.

Incorporating a newly developed high-speed bipolar processing that enables high-voltage operation (at 18V), the NJM2727 features high slew rate (300V/?s typ.) and wideband characteristics (fT = 40MHz typical). The NJM2727 is best suited for measurement hardware and industrial equipment such as that operating at 15V-operating voltage or 30V-operating voltage, as well as high-frequency applications.

Engineering samples of the NJM are available today. Mass production started this month. Pricing is at $2.14.
