Component's TP-104 series of PCB test points

Components Corp. offers a RoHS-compliant TP-104 series of color-coded PCB mountable test points. The loop-style plastic standoffs of the test points enable quick identification and easy polarization.

Targeting fabricators of high-density PCBs, the through-hole TP-104 test points are designed for 0.062-inch thick boards in a variety of consumer, medical and aerospace applications. The low-profile series is designed to facilitate a secure, non-slip grip of alligator clips, probes, J-hooks, tips and grabbers. These test points are also said to eliminate the risk of skin punctures often resulting from the use of turret terminals and wire-wrap posts.

The TP-104 test points may be ordered precut to any of 30 positions and are offered on breakaway strips with 0.125-inch centers for easier storage and handling. They are easy to install individually and in tandem with the use of the company's P/N 1040 hand tool.

The test points are manufactured of 0.015-by-0.030-inch phosphor bronze #510 alloy and a 100 percent matte tin (0.0001 min.) over nickel (0.00005) underplate. The plastic bases are UL 94V-0 rated, and are offered in ten colors including red, white, black, orange and yellow. The collar is 15 percent glass-filled polyester.

Pricing for the TP-104 series is 9.2 cents each in quantities of 1,000. Delivery is from stock to 4 weeks. Samples are available upon request.
