Charging pad delivers universal applicability

WildCharge is introducing two new power productsthe WildCharger and the WildCharger Miniat the ongoing International CES in Las Vegas.

The WildCharger is a flat, thin charging pad that is capable of delivering up to 90W of power, enough to simultaneously charge and power most laptop computers and an assortment of small devices placed anywhere on its surface. Similarly, the WildCharger Mini delivers up to 15W of power, capable of simultaneously powering and charging three or four small devices such as cellphones, portable music players, digicams and other products.

The WildCharger and WildCharger Mini will be available to consumers Q1 2007 and are expected to be offered at retail prices of about $100 and $40 a unit, respectively. Plans are underway to release a higher power unit in the near future.

The technology's universal applicability has sparked interest from electronic, automobile, furniture and other manufacturing industries. Many companies in these industries are currently preparing to embed WildChargers in their products to be offered to consumers worldwide in the near future.
