Adlink's cPCI-6910 CompactPCI

Adlink Technology has introduced a new 6U CompactPCI universal board incorporating the latest Dual-Core Intel Xeon processor designed for use in a wide range of applications including military, telecom, data center and network appliance.

The cPCI-6910 uses the latest Dual-Core Intel Xeon architecture that not only improves the performance per watt by 400 percent over the current LV Intel Xeon processor to significantly lower power consumption but it also executes several tasks simultaneously for high-performance, low power I/O applications. Two ultra ATA 100 channels (via a 2.5-inch IDE HDD interface and type II CompactFlash socket), two serial ATA connectors, one serial attached SCSI connector and one SCSI connector make this board suitable for complex data processing functions with fast data access.

The versatile cPCI-6910 fits a variety of performance-intensive applications by supporting up to 2Gbyte DDR2 400MHz registered SDRAM with ECC and providing four GbE ports on the PCIe bus. The I/O interface offers a variety of options via a PMC slot on the 64bit/66MHz PCI bus, four USB 2.0 ports and two serial ports.
