Fuse terminals have blown fuse indicator
Keywords:power management? fuse? blown fuse indicator? Weidmuller? LED?
Weidmuller has made its ASK and KDKS indicating fuse terminal blocks more efficient by using a newly developed blown fuse indicator (BFI) circuit, which employs a high efficiency surface-mount LED that emits a bright signal throughout a complete voltage range.
The BFI circuit is built into the lever, making disconnection fast; and in the case of a damaged LED circuit, only the lever needs to be replaced. Because of the wide voltage range of the BFI circuits, the number of parts in the series has been reduced from 40 to 16 part numbers.
The new design also delivers a reduced leakage current rating, which decreases the occurrence of operator injury and false PLC input signals. The voltage range and polarity are labeled on the lever for easy identification and troubleshooting.
List pricing is as follows: ASK 1EN without LED for $5.78 (with LED $9.75); KDKS 1EN without LED for $6.95 (with LED $14.31); and KDKS 1PE/EN without LED for $9.01 (with LED $15.75)
