Broadband tester provider Innocor has announced the addition of 40Gbps/43Gbps test capabilities to its TestPoint product line. With this test module, the emerging data rates of 40Gbps and 43Gbps are now supported in the company's modular and cost-effective platform. Additionally, the 40Gbps module is the first OC-768/STM-256 and OTU3 test interface specifically designed for manufacturing and system test applications.

"The 40Gbps module is an important addition to our test solutions portfolio. The strength of our automation capabilities, modular approach to port density and pricing advantage uniquely positions Innocor to serve the 40G SONET/SDH and OTU3 manufacturing and system test markets," said Randy Gill, president of Innocor. "Our all-FPGA implementation and flexible hardware architecture will allow us to continue our tradition of adapting quickly to emerging protocols, line rate variations and test scenarios, thereby delivering once again on the level of investment protection that our customers have come to expect from Innocor."

The 40Gbps module is available in both the 3-slot TS-30 and 17-slot TS-170 chassis configurations. Innocor's TestPoint family offers a flexible and cost-effective telecom and datacom test solution for manufacturing and R&D environments. This platform provides versatility in configuring interface types, transmission rates, protocols and port density.
