Wolfson Microelectronics plc is sampling three multichannel audio codecs with flexible I/O selection and digital and analog volume control for flat-panel TVs.

The WM8593, WM8594 and WM8599 feature a 24bit stereo ADC with digital gain control, two 24bit DACs with independent digital volume control, and a range of I/O channel selection options with analog volume control, for flexible routing within current and future audio systems.

The WM8593, WM8594 and WM8599 operate from 3.3V and 9V supplies, eliminating the need for designers to implement discrete circuitry to drive and receive two Vrms audio signals.

Pricing in quantities of 10,000 is $2.56 for the WM8593; $2.15 for the WM8594; and $2.08 for the WM8599.
