LNAs suit GSM, W-CDMA, WiMAX base stations

Equipped with an active bias circuit, Avago's MGA-631P8 and -632P8 low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) are designed for the receiver chain of GSM, CDMA2000, W-CDMA and WiMAX base station and repeater designs.

At 900MHz, the MGA-631P8 delivers a 17.6dB gain, 0.53dB noise figure, +33.1dBm output third-order intercept point and 18dB output power at 1dB compression. At 900MHz, the MGA-632P8 delivers a 17.6dB gain, 0.62dB noise figure +34.8dBm output third-order intercept point, and 19.2dB output power at 1dB compression.

Avago's MGA-631P8 and -632P8 LNAs are available today in 2-by-2-by-0.75mm leadless packages. Pricing is $2.13 each in 5,000 pieces.
