VCO from Crystek

Crystek Corp. has expanded its line of ultralow-phase-noise voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) with a coaxial resonator oscillator. The CVCO55CC-0827-0840 VCO operates from 827MHz to 840MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.2Vdc to 4.7Vdc. This coaxial VCO features a typical phase noise of -124dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset and has excellent linearity.

The model CVCO55CC-0827-0840 is packaged in the industry-standard 0.5-by-0.5-by-0.220-inch SMD package. It exhibits an output power of -6dBm typ. into a 50 ohms load with a supply of 5Vdc and a typical current consumption of 30mA. Pushing and Pulling are both minimised to 0.05MHz/V. Second harmonic suppression is -18dBc typical.

The CVCO55CC-0827-0840 is suitable for use in applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems and base stations.
